
How billing, cancellations, and refunds work for Marine Vault memberships.
This Refund Policy applies to paid Marine Vault memberships (the Crew and Pro plans). Marine Vault is a subscription platform that connects boat owners with marine contractors and crew. Marine Vault does not process, hold, or move payments between users — owners and contractors arrange any project payments directly between themselves. The only charges Marine Vault collects are membership subscription fees.
Paid memberships are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment provider. Your membership renews automatically each month until you cancel. The Basic plan is free.
You can cancel your membership at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period and is not renewed afterward. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund the current period.
Membership fees are generally non-refundable, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods after a month has begun. As a courtesy, if you were charged in error, charged after cancelling, or experienced a billing problem, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will review your request and issue a refund where appropriate.
Email support@themarinevault.com from the address on your account with the date and amount of the charge and a short description of the issue. Refunds, where granted, are returned to the original payment method.
